Overview

A practical ENT-focused emergency card for thermal, chemical, smoke-inhalation, and electrical burns involving the face and neck. In these patients, the visible skin burn is only one part of the problem. The real danger may be an airway that is still open now but will close later, a toxic inhalation injury with normal-looking skin, a chemical burn that continues to penetrate, or an electrical injury that looks small externally while damaging muscle, heart, and kidney internally.
